The o-rings I used were:
5/8" I.D. (13/16" O.D.) x 3/32" wall for the piston
1/4" I.D. (3/8" O.D.) x 1/16" wall for the check valve.
I used thicker, L Rated 3/4" tubing for the pump body.
I think I may cast my piston entirely from epoxy and for the grooves what bit did you use

Cutoff wheel on the dremel, I used the steel in the piston to help guide the tool on the o-ring groove, as even cured JB Weld is easier to cut than steel.
If I have time, I'll snap a pic of the machine screw anchor, I bought two of them.

Wow, now that's kicking up an old thread, LoL!
I hope your pump works well too. Be sure to post some info on it when it's all together.
I have made some changes to my pump recently; For one thing, I don't use a schraeder chuck anymore; it's been replaced by a male quick-connect fitting. I also reworked the check valve a bit to fix some issues (it stuck open around 300 PSI once) and reduced the dead space at the bottom some more.
Oh, and I have a stand for it now, and added a bit to clip the air hose to when not in use. Maybe I'll post some pics later. I also updated thunderbess a bit too. Updates all around perhaps?
I was thinking of making another pump with a 1/2" pump body instead of a 3/4" one in the near future as well. When I get around to it I suppose.

Update pictures sounds good and hopefully i can post pics of my pump today even though my pump has so much dead space that i need to get rid of :/
