Lockednloaded; Yes my pump has a gauge for 260 psi max but you can easily get 300 psi as i previously had a 350psi gauge on my gun and could push it to about 320 psi. Carlman told me about these pumps about a year ago so i take no credit but they are located in New Zealand. Link;

Django; It is a very smooth well built pump and only take about 9 pumps to reach 260-280 psi which isnt to bad at all unless your lazy or quite weak :lol:

I think accuracy is not a problem either as i have the bipod and im almost always shooting from a bench averaging a 2" group at 15 meter which is pretty damn good compared to what ive made and seen from most airguns so far.

As for the trigger i had thought of a poppet valve before but made a push button valve out of a schrader and a few fittings instead. I found it alright but i think i had become comfortable with the worn in ball valve as it would pilot perfectly. A poppet valve would also add to a busier uglier pilot side me thinks and the aim of this project was to make a good realistic .22 rifle so im pretty happy.

I really like to ease and simplicity and would like to run a 20 Oz with reg or a 16 gram but i really just built this rifle to have some fun until i get my gun license next year and buy a proper airgun. However i have been thinking about making and t bolt action with mag with Co2 similar to Brian the brain

Thanks for the heads up about the cops django, but im always very cautious about where and when i shoot it and who i show it to as im currently on a good behaviour bond and would be going to jail if caught.

Fizento the attchment for a blowgun is usually 1/4" input to 1/8" output.

DAMAGE PICS COMING LATER TODAY!

I see what you mean! Along the lines of the phallic logo awards :D

Heres a few damage pics nothing special really.

This target has a 40x40 cm wooden back board which the .22 pellets punch through with ease at 15 - 20 meters. It has a hole cut out in the center so at longer distances you can hear the pellet hit the 8mm steel bullseye.

I will try and get some damage pictures using the bigger 9mm buckshot BB's instead of .22 pellets :twisted:

Nice, and proof that the pellets are flying straight without the benefit of rifling ;)

The barrel is rifled but the scoring is only really light as stainless steel is very hard to cut into. Also it only has a half twist for the full length of the barrel. I took a photo of the barrel but it is so small that you couldnt make out anything.

Mate i bet you couldnt even hit a can at 25m with a proper airrifle let alone with one you have made yourself.

Well said, for a home built launcher without the benefit of a rifled barrel it's extremely accurate.

While I'll agree with Jack that it's very impressive accuracy for a homemade "rifle", I'd be careful with saying things like "I bet you couldn't even hit a can at 25m with a proper air rifle".

Not only does it have the potential to start arguments (particularly if the person perceives they are capable of it), you should bear in mind that you are on a site full of ballistics enthusiasts, many of whom are accomplished shooters. That is to say, there are enough people around here who could do that, and many who could do it at two, three, even four times that distance.
