Media/Mediums:

Whatever substance is used as the target, the result isn't mediocre..

But I'm guessing it's mostly because of the high pressure and ridiculously long barrel.. :D

The unexpected large boom could be caused by relatively slow opening of the valve.
It " saves" air in the first stages of the launch so more gas is available after the projectile has left the muzzle.
By that time you'll have 100% flow..
This too would explain the extra thrust you are experiencing.
Not to be confused with recoil.

Basically the same as a " better" valved cannon with a shorter barrel.
Wich would be more .....my style..

That being said, you will probably get much better performance with a longer barrel and bigger reservoir as the cons " disappear" after a certain amount of ammo travel and the pro's will come into play

Having 100% flow will make this thing beat any QEV gun with the same specs as long as they are both long barreled cannons.

So you see...there must be a point where they are equal....

very well said BTB.

I am in the process of attempting to transport a friend with a 1000fps camera to my location. This is proving to be difficult due to the fact that i seem to lack any friends that meet that one "camera owning" specification.

I can't forget about my spudfiles buddies!

unless i can find a friend that lives within 250 miles of traverse city mi, and also happens to own a high speed camera.... i am going to have to wait until i can afford one.
