That is a needle valve. It regulates flow rate, not pressure. It is OK of you want to regulate the flow rate of Nitrogen for brazing copper to prevent oxidization or flow rate for an air brush, but other than that, I have little use for flow rate regulators. I prefer the ones with the marble in the tube so I can see the flow rate.

Don't buy those. I've bought two in the past and they break very easily.

I have used both of them and if you use them as a method of filling and shutting off at your desired pressure, they work great.

Especially if you use quick disconnect fittings. They function only as a flow control. Do not consider them a type of "regulator".

This also allows only one hole in your chamber, not two; one for the Schrader valve and one for the guage hole. Another benefit is there small size.

This may not belong here, but this weekend I got two 1.5" SVs and a co2 remote line/regulator with a 1/8" slide valve. What did I pay for this? One spray & pray combustion gun!

On their sight click on Technical.

The 6 is 6/16 which is 3/8 inch ID nominal port size.

Google "sae 6 ports" for more information.

@LnL
The description says that the valve has two positions... could it be a 4-way?

Three way valves always have 2 positions, they're 3/2 DCVs

Ohhh sorry I was thinking it had two spots you could move it to, which would make three if you count the closed position. :oops: :lol:
