@Boyntonstu:
What launchers have you made?
You can find my cannons in the list on the bottom. If you have any questions, ask me

(I dont think you need to)
I suggest you make the same list as I did. If everyone does something like that, we get a nice cannon database.
If JSR did so, it would get a mess.
I can remember the Trom-Boyne, BoyntonButterfly, BoyntonBanger, ..

OK
I shoot my copper at 650 psi.
What is the highest pressure that you have used?
At 650 psi my cannon has the energy of a .38 Police Special.
That was my baseline goal.

232 psi is the highest i've used. That was with my copper gun.
My 6 mm is good for much more, but I don't have a suitable compressor.
The QDV launcher uses about 100 psi, and is really powerful at that pressure. (1000 joules) I want to take it to 250 psi.

Oh yeah? Well I fill my copper cannon to 432 torr per feet per minute.
At 432 torr per feet per minute, it has the same muzzle energy as a .22 Hornet with 570 tons per mm2 divided by time.
So, my baseline goal was to have a .22 LR traveling at 573 cannons per torr to generate a kinetic force of 793 feet per ton per square minute.
Actual measured results point towards a figure of 23 cannons when firing at 75 tons per minute per .22 LR, so I guess I have to do some more testing or buy a better microwave.

Nicely said.
