It first must be shot in New Zealand, searched after for hours, digged out from a sand pit, and only

I'm still thinking of ways to track the projectile, perhaps I'll query another forum as well.

I was thinking about that and have come up with an idea, a small radio transmitter would be placed in the projectile and set to a known frequency. Then you would get a handheld radio and attach a pipe wrapped in aluminum foil to the end of the antenna with the open end pointing away from you and set the radio to that frequency and just follow the direction of the noise.

you can take the gps chip out of a phone and power it with a AAA battery, with a small antenna of course

A cheaper GPS option was suggested in the long range thread, still a bit bulky and rtisky to be fired though.

The tracking options are very limited due to size and weight constrictions. A extra set of eye's and a metal detector may be in need. Paint it bright orange...

Id put it on top of the tree
I'd love a drill press and milling machine like that, i'm sure many people would maybe one day. ill have to get a job were i need one just as an excuse to buy one
