Do you have a propane blow torch? If you do, just let out about 5 seconds of it, and then put your cap back on and fire away.

Its using a meter to fuel. Volumetric you use the rise of pressure in the camber to get the right ratio, its only good for hybrids because you only need 0.62 as ramses said.

I think you have the two terms mixed up.
Here's the sticky. Anyway, we all agree that he should use a meter pipe with a gauge, and NOT seal the chamber and use it as his metering pipe.
The best way to calculate meter pressure is to use water to measure chamber volume, use water to measure meter volume. you can then take 0.62*(chamber volume/meter volume), which should be on the order of 100 or so, as the gauge pressure to fill the meter to, after purging much of the air out. You can then adjust it up and down to see what precise quantity of fuel gives you the most power.
