use a cad program like varicad to draw a 3D gun that would be cool

the meter pipe can be as long as you want as long as you have a regulator to ajust the pressure you are puttting into it.

what is the proper C:B ratio for a hybrid?

and can you use the volume of your chamber to find out how big your propane metering pipe should be and what psi to use for extremely precise metering?

otherwise i guess it would be just an educated guess and check method like spudstuff explained.

oops looks like spudstuff and i kicked up an old topic! hate it when i do that.

use the fuel tool on burnt latke. com it allows you to set your chamber size, then find how long your meter pope should be based on the pressure you are putting into it.
the C:B on a hybrid can be quite large becaise they create much more gas and at a much higher pressure than a triditional combustion cannon

should i use a 1:.5 for my hybrid?

no i think you mean 0.5:1 so you will have a very long barrel.

Nobody acctualy knows what the max barrel length that a hybrid can support, although it is predicted to be much longer than that of a combustion.

can i use a burst disk on my plain combustion

yeah i used to do that all the time. it made the gun louder.

does it increace performance

i think it said on advancedspuds that is helps performance with guns that have too short of barrels. but it wouldn't help much with a gun that has a normal C:B ratio. .6-.8 according to burntlatke

I enjoyed how much noisier my gun was with the burst disk, the disk held back the escaping air for a split second then the air puched out with what seemed like alot more speed and power than usual.

one time with the burst disk, i shot off a funny shaped potato. the sucker must have caught the wind because it flew up and took 90 degree turn to the left in midair! it was amazing.

Indeed, for shorter-than-ideal barrels, a burst disk helps.
About the C:B ratio: I think it's safe to assume that for a 2X mix, the barrel can be twice as long as in a normal combustion. Three times as long for 3X, etc.
Of course, these are not exact measurements, but it's a place to start.

looks good, but i still wouldnt hold it on my shoulder. just my opinion because hybrids fail more than anything else

What makes you to thing that hybrids fail more then anything alse?
