The limitation of syringe metering is that you can only inject gas at atmospheric pressure, so you can't go higher than 28-29x. Any greater mixes require fuel to be injected under pressure.

if your gun can handle 28X mixes would you use syringe metering ? just purge with propane till the chamebr is full of it and top off with air

Pretty much what I did, 60mL syringefull of fuel dumped in the chamber :)
