It makes perfect sense, in a combustion you wAnt you ammo to be air tight , when he said he was launching golfballs he didnt mention them being air tight

Troubleshoot-
1. Keep firing with end cap removed immediately after adding plenty of fuel. If it lights the fuel eventually, then its because you usually put in too much fuel, there may not be enough oxygen, or move on too the next troubleshoot. If it does not light, that means your spark is not strong enough to light other fuels or the fuel is simply not flammable.
2. With a tissue plug in the barrel, try to fire the spudgun in a position where the sparks are at the bottom of the chamber gravitationally. If it does fire this way, it means your fuel is too heavy to float around the chamber.
3. If it still doesn't fire, warm up the chamber and try the fuel again. Or leave the fuel inside for a while before firing. If either of these worked, it means your fuel is condensing in the chamber and it is not staying as a gas or aerosol.
