Okay, well I have another idea for you. You'll need a 3L pop bottle (make sure you have the cap), aluminum foil, epoxy, a PVC female threaded adapter and male threaded adapter, some PVC pipe, and either muriatic acid, Drano, or lye (if you use lye you'll have to mix it with water).
Epoxy the female threaded adapter onto the lid end of the bottle very securely (it needs to be large enough that you can put the cap on the bottle after the adapter is on there). Glue the barrel onto the male adapter. Unscrew the top and put a few square feet of aluminum foil and about two cups of Drano, lye, or muriatic acid in. Put the cap back on quickly (and tight), and load the projectile into the barrel, then screw the barrel onto the adapter. The cap acts as a burst disk valve when it pops off (and is reusable because the threads just expand a little bit and slip off). The gas is hydrogen, which works really well and can send a golfball at least 900 yards from a small launcher like this.
Alternatively, you could put a ball valve on the PVC piece and leave the cap off after filling. That won't be nearly as powerful, but more controllable. You'll want to wait until the bottle inflates to at least twice its normal size to open the valve for maximum pressure.

Ah I see now. You had me confused in your original post with your excellent grammar and syntax.
Buy a 6' length PVC that fits a tennis ball and buy a 3' length of 3" or 4" pipe for the chamber. That's about as creative as one can get with a 1.5" porting piston valved pneumatic.
If you're wondering what performance is like... GGDT.

It's called "natural selection". Haven't you asked yourself..."How can he be that stupid and survive?
I know I have.:banghead:

Lol do the same with my username.
In response to DYI's suggestion: I don't think that setup is predictable enough. Inserting two electrodes into the chamber and connecting them to a pulsed HV setup should create a sudden pressure increase and trigger the valve. Just be sure to put plenty of epoxy around the electrodes. More is more!
