That's quite a beautiful gun you've made! If you can afford it, you could mod the air tank to fit a PCP pump, and then you'd really be in business.

Would suggest you try swagging the pellet skirts up in diameter to fit the bore well...should have to push them in a little...if they fall right through...accuracy will definitely suffer.

Yeah they are fairly tight in the breech, once the pressure drops too low sometimes they get stuck.

i was just wondering, where did you get the steel camber and barel? also how were you able to connect the steel chamber to the ball valve?

Hi,
A short question: you said you pumped to 260 psi, but i'm wonder if it is safe for the QEV with that high pressure (when the working pressure of such 1/4'' valve is approx. 150 psi ~ 10bar)?

Some folks have taken 150 psi rated QEVs to 500-600 psi with no issues other than increased diaphragm wear. It's never a good idea to exceed the manufacturer's ratings, but in the vast majority of cases as long as you don't overdo it, it's unlikely that a catastrophic failure will occur. At your own risk, of course.
