Yup, the AR-7 is a fun little gun. Reasonably reliable and much more accurate than I would have ever expected. It's no sniper rifle, of course, but I can hit pretty much whatever I want to with it out to about 50 meters.

Mine is in camo though (towards bottom of pic)...

Daewoo Max-1/AR-110c. Basically a South Korean hybrid between the M-16 and the AK-47. Wonderful gun but decidedly rare in the US.

How do you find the Marlin .22? Thanks to our wonderful laws it's hard to get one semi .22, so I'd like to get a decent one.

I've been shooting that one since I was about 10 years old so it's a bit hard to say. Good eye though. Most folks wouldn't recognize/care about that one.

I've got no chance of a semi centrefire down here, so I try not to look at them. .454 casulls though, no problem.

Yep, under 10+1 rounds makes it a C, over makes it D. Semi/pump shotguns under 5+1 rounds are C.

You can get a class C license if you're a farmer. Class D just doesn't happen anymore.

I'd get a 10/22, but I haven't heard the best things about their accuracy, not to mention they cost about $750 here.

oh i see, that's pretty expensive. the belmont range near me has a military rifle club that have different meets for all sorts of gun types, so I was thinking of joining there to be able to have a bit of variety in what I can use, but applying for your firearms licence is such a mission and there's quite a bit of cost so it's taking me ages to get through the whole process
