This is the life of a hybrid user :D

Loving this, proof that you don't need to try and build a lathe before making your own hybrid ;) good job!

So does this mean that my membership application in the epoxy hybrid club was accepted? :D

Yes, but you violated the first rule of the club so you automatically got your membership revoked

sorry
:D

Pneumaticcannons, How do you inject the butane from the syringe to the PET bottle?

Sorry, this was kinda a dumb question :), but i thought there might have been a fancy way on how to inject the butane.

Ignore POLAND_SPUD, he's just jealous that he's only a theoretical member for now :)

Remember that with membership comes responsibility, more will be expected of you - but from what I've seen so far I'm certain you'll deliver :D

Ummm... very easily?

uummm, if you really want detail... I inject it, then pinch the air line as I take the syringe out, then insert the plug while the air line is still pinched...
Theirs detail

Well at a 5x mix, shooting a battery, the cap cracked and since the barrel was epoxied directly onto the cap, the barrel of course blew off :D

I was being retarded and forgot to put a recoil absorber behind the gun so it flew back wards and luckily, the long plug took the hit against the wall instead of the schrader :) phew... Conclusion: should be all epoxied up and ready to run by tomorrow :D :D

That was the first thing I expected to blow up :D

Maybe you can sleeve the cap with a piece of metal pipe?

Surprised it didn't blow up earlier to be honest, if you intend to go higher I would definitely get a better thread.

I remember shooting closed PET bottles full of water and the cap would blow off simply from the hydrostatic overpressure.

Shame the cap blew apart, try what jack said, but fill the air gaps with epoxy.

Do you have any old pictures or videos of that? That sounds pretty cool.

Should've grown legs!

Still happy with the frame I got :D

Btw, look at the PET-shard in the Picture in my previous post, that's not something you'd want in your body.

surprisingly, the cap didn't actually blow apart. It developed a small crack in the top which shattered the epoxy. The cap stayed on but the barrel blew off.
Maybe you can sleeve the cap with a piece of metal pipe?
thats a good idea. I think I'm going to do just that and fill the space between the pipe and barrel with loads of epoxy :)

Btw labtec, that was an awesome shot!

I did something similar here but really, if you want higher pressures, time to seek a different threaded fittings.
