That was actually 80mm, the great thing is that it fits a standard soup tin with a bit of tape wrapping, and that gives you a cheap, strong and relatively lightweight sabot that lets you fire practically anything that fits in the barrel.

so you would rather go for a bigger bore, and use sabots ?..

again, it depends on what you want to do with it.

If you want to "snipe" at targets at longer ranges, go for a smaller (1" - 1.5") bore and find yourself a regular projectile (golf balls etc.).

If you want to have some fun and shoot anything that fits in the barrel, go bigger bore

that was more the answer i was looking for .. guess i have to make at leasr two barrels .. is there any problems with using a 3" banjo on a 1,5" pipe ? .. (i got a big mill and have no troubble making parts when i need em )

It will be under a bit of stress especially with a heavy or tight fitting projectile, but as long as you make it strong enough, why not.

i have ordered the 2" banjo, and will take it from there. got the 3" in my hands, and it was HUGE ,... .. what is the biggest pipe i can expect to get trought a 2" bajo? .

have tried to find out how u peeps connect the banjo to the barrel and chamber. ive seen many have uset epoxy for the barrel. but how do you connect the banjo to the chamber without the sureshot adapter ?


btw.. the banjos are really expensive in norway.. its like 65$ for the female end alone.. lol...

turns out there is a REAL hassle to get all PVC parts needed here in norway, they are not common used in plumbing here, specially a the parts needed to make a vented chamber that can be opened with threads.

i have all parts for the fuel metering system, and got me a 2" bajo couppling. But the millimeter PVC pipes have a really poor fit to the inch couppling. and there is no millimeter bannjo couppling.

Im about to just go order me a BL-520, but on the other side, half the fun is lost when u dont build it your self.


Any suggestions for a ok online store that stock all the pipe parts needed ?

You don't have to limit yourself to standard parts.

Good epoxy solves many problems .

A lot simpler for me, but a little overkill maybe , im afraid the weight gonna be a bit high... but guess there is only one way to find out,... make one !

I'm pretty sure 1mm ss-316 pipes are enough for the pressure.
On the other hand, i guess my stungun trigger needs alot of isolation LoL

If you make it out of 316 and use a banjo fitting for the barrel, you're only one very small step away from making a hybrid...

hybrids scare the shit out of me ... i'm new to this.... lol..

Edit: but on the other hand, i guess if i use my head a littlebit, it will be easy to make the gun hybrid ready. so it can be used both as a standard combustion and as hybrid

All you have to do is add a schrader valve or similar fill nipple et voila, hybrid ready seems a shame to go for SS and stay at atmospheric pressure.
