well i just got this in the mail:

(i think its a 3 way) the ebay description was extremely vague. but when air is blown into the threaded port on the left without the lever pushed it exhausts the air. when it is pressed the air is no longer exhausted and it is opened to the threaded port on the right. this is perfect for me, if i connect the cylinder to the left threaded port, and add a well timed cam to the output shaft of my air motor to open the valve at the top of the stroke (or slightly past to prevent it from simply going back and forth) it should allow for little to no back compression, reducing resistance and increasing efficiency.

I don't think a three way valve is what you wanted... I would have gone with a simple check valve as previously suggested.
