^ That is really smart, my drill isnt fast enough to work as a legit lathe, i have to hold the tool for like a minute to make a cut. but it works lol

Not using a tool, just emery cloth to true and round all the disks. It's not perfect but it's close enough

try 2 or more popoffs connecting the pistons to a crankshaft. its simple, pneumatic, powerful, and constant flow. worked for me. airhog planes use a single piston version.
WHY PAY FOR IT WHEN U CAN MAKE IT?

Get an old vacuum cleaner and take the turbine out of that. Chances are the turbine it attached right outside the motor, so just use wire cutters and a hacksaw to chew away all the winding on the shaft. I did this with a shop vac once and got a halfway decent turbine out of it. You can even keep the motor bearings and housing so you can mount it easily. Add a simple wooden shroud to the turbine and you're done. I got mine to get going pretty fast while spraying air into it with a blowgun. You would definitely have to gear it down to get any useful torque though.
