Make 100% sure it's a BRUSHLESS Computer fan, if it's for computers it's most likely burshless, but they sell DC fans that have brushes on their motors and they will spark and ignite your fuel....
If you get it from a computer it's probably brushless, but it you go to RadioShack made sure you get a PC fan...

are you using dwv(drain waste vent) pipe? thats not safe with propane is it? mind you i use it on my combustion but i dont use propane.
