this photo is zoomed in a few time.
From where the person stood that taked the photo to the point where the tennisball landed was around 140m.
I'm looking forward to do more shooting so we can take videos.

very nice paint job airpress. You need to try shooting frozen soda cans, tons of fun. I have almost the same cannon, except mine uses a 2 inch sprinkler valve and a 3/4 inch qev to pilot it, and mine needs a nice paint job like yours!! It is also impressive you can get your piston to seal off of a bike pump....

Hey so I am new to this and I notice on here that most people on here use piston valves, however on Mythbusters they always use butterfly valves for their air cannons. Which is better and why?

No they don't always use those.. only in large diameter cannons they use butterfly valves, because its cheap and easy valve to use with large diameter piping.. it's not much different then using ballvalve so piston valve would be lot more powerful.
Mythbusters use diagram and dust collector valves for smaller (like under ~3") cannons
