Blow forward valves add dead space and rob energy from the projectile, especially if not made to very tight tolerances.

Consider a simple tee magazine with a detent:

For my tee detent I drilled two holes in the tee and then inserted a zip-tie for a detent.

thanks "Talk"for the ideea but youre wrong, absolutely no air passes through the magazine hole because the push-forward piston directs the gaz beyond the magazine hole as I fire the gun, the problem is the piston (as the gas travels through the piston, pushing it forward, it looses velocity -> lowers FPS) I'l try to increase the gas flow through the piston and manufacture a much softer retuning spring

sorry but my english is not that good what is a "detent" ?? maby a picture of it ...

detent, something which stops the BB from rolling out of the barrel.

Jsr it looks like it will act like a hop up, if the projectile is round.

hy there, so I took your advice and made a detent loading mech, I think it achived semi, but I tested it on a lower gas pressure, because my co2 tank was nearly empty. Anyway, here are some pics, video will come when I'll carge my co2 tank.
It still needs some finishing.

what you meassured was in inches, meaning 1/4" you must search the pipe in metric units. (I work with this king of pipes, don't realy know where you can buy it, especialy in small quantities)

do you think this concept will perform better than my current one on regulated 30 bar pressure ?

I don't think a hammer valve will give you more power unless you make one with exceptionally good flow struck by a decent hammer. What a hammer valve will allow you to do is tune the air usage to maximize number of shots per tank.

Hy there, it's been a while, since I worked on my BLD3 hammer-valve project.
I replaced my steel qev piston with a plastic one, much more light than the previous one, with a better fit; also added a spring behind it.
overall I feel a much better performance than before(better BOOM sound), and also less gas lost with the pilot(thanks to bravotoome).
