I might be wrong as well but from what I know of DDT its when a fuel mixture such as propane combusts and since it is under pressure it is much more power full and this sometimes causes the flame front to move at the speed of sound. This then compresses everything in front of the flamefront creating exstreamly high pressures. What I meant by using higher mixes in a 3" pipe is that since a 3" SCH 80 PVC pipe has a high pressure rating I assumed that you would be using pretty high mixes and from what I know that will increass the chance of DDT and the falure of your chamber.
If Im wrong please exsplain.
