Its as far as i could get it. Same with the tee and elbows. I found the book in the creek and thought it would be a good target. I cant believe it went through.

What do you meen? Could you explain. This thing is so much fun you guys should make one and it takes about 20 mins to build and even a person new to spud guns can build one.

If the bushing is too long to fit into the socket, why not cut a small length off the end so it fits flush?

All of the parts are NSF-pw (or so it appears). if that is so, the bushing should not need to be cut down; it should fit flushly no matter what. I have a recommendation for your next cannon: spend a couple bucks and buy a rubber mallet. They are honestly GREAT; they make solvent welding so much easier. You just pound in the fitting with the rubber mallet (while attempting to make a quarter turn), and then you just hold for 30 seconds

people have gone to 110psi with it,so you could put it around a brick wall and you stand on the otherside of the brick wall and pump it to 100psi

Nah ill just play it safe around 80psi then. i dont want to stress those fitting with that high of pressure anyway.

I recommend you trash it and buy NSF-pw. The launcher just will not be very fun if you always have to worry about the thing exploding; you will be glad you bought the fittings.

Or just return the parts and get new pw ones.
