I made one.The capacitors are much better then form a camera.As reaper613 sad there is no such thing as mini rail gun.My is noisy, cool but can't even penatrate styrofoam or however it is caled.I mean totaly useless..somethims I'm wandering where are all the 800J going.. http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2032&

I can see the problem with that railgun.

The photo appears to show you are connecting the capacitors in series. Connect and charge them in parallel.

At the moment, you are losing most of those 800J due to poor wiring. Capacitors work oddly, so changing it round should increase the power you get.

sry, if im digging up old post but mine kinda worked

i build one mini and i got the EM field but too much tinfoil and i overloaded circuit, so i came to spudgunning, so its momentary failure is the reason im here
