I'm 31 and I can't hear it.
The pitch is too high..
Pretty funny though, how ones hearing has deteriorated by the time he's 30.
Well..
I've spent 8 years working in loud music so I don't stand a chance at this.
This could be adapted for cheating as well you know.

it's a 1 second tone that stops and repeats it self, my friends have a flat one which is way cooler, it goes for about 15 seconds stops and repeats.
My mum can hear it and she is 40 this year and half deaf in one ear, so thats a bonus for her. But no teachers can ever hear it.

Just turn your speakers up a it higher. If you listened to loud music as a young teen you may have messed up your ears too much.

if i turn my speakers up to much, the speakers can't do that pitch so loud so it changes pitch!

http://www.jetcityorange.com/MosquitoRingtone.html here is a free version for your pc. Its a constant tone that goes for 10 seconds.

i played this in my tech class countinual cycle and by the end the kids where going crazy and the teacher couldnt find out why

Dang it. For some reason I cant hear it any more... Some times I think explosives are making me deaf.
But how can I blame such a wonderful thing? It must just be old age
