Thats a good concept. Have you put any thought into a semi-auto hybrid at all? Considering your design ability I think you would be very able to come up with something.

A non burst disk hybrid? I think my idea for a jet gun (in the thread just before this) is that. But my design is release first, then ignite.

Nice work man, just one thing I didn't really understand. Why do you have to have the piston vented? I would have thought that if you completely blocked off the vents near the rear (the smaller piston) that it would be better simply because it would pressurize the piston slightly and when the chamber pressure drops down to a certain pressure the piston would seal once again making it semi.. semi? If you know what I'm getting at.. That pressure at which the piston would seal again would all depend on the piston ratios of course.
Edit: Just trying to watch some videos on your site, they look really good but I can't download the whole file. It gets to like 10 percent and says its finished, and I'm like "hmm, no you are not finished now keep downloading damn it..." Know whats going on at all?

well i took GalFisk's cannon idea and came up with a completly inline hybrid concept
u guys think it can work?

Depends, it would work if you wanted it to explode, but if you wanted to use it as a gun, your piston sealing on the barrel would have to be smaller than the middle piston. Other than that I don't see any problems in it.
