At risk of sounding like an echo:
That is kick-ass!!!! I wish I had the ability and tools to do that sort of thing...

Also, the straps are flat kaki, and a ten foot 3" chamber is what is on my cannon, assuming your firing all 4 tanks
You will definatly need 2 - 1" sprinklers for the chamber, as the single valve is a bottle neck, although you can use a longer barrel to offset a single valve.
This is quite powerful, It launched a slug roughly 250 yards on just 2 tanks, and punctured a metal trash can with a filled plastic water bottle (these shots taken at around 100psi, using the 2" Devastator barrel). I have not fully tested the longer barrel yet.

How well does the silencer work? And are you losing any pressure out of the breech?

hey how did you construct the breech loading system

That is not a silencer, its more of a "shroud" The barrel continues all the way through it. There is a slight leak at the breech but its minimal, I have not seen a preformance decrease from it, at lease not one that I would care about. Like I have said it shot roughly 250 yards.
How did I construct the breech? Ill try to get some pics up. But it did involve cutting oring grooves.

Happy to report the 2" Nerf Vortex fits this baby like a glove, and when fired that round is so straight its on a wire! Im woundering if I can regulate a CO2 bottle to auto-refill these chambers. My concern is will the PVC hold up to the cold CO2?

You should have used better valve, like a 3" piston valve.
But it is a really good gun, you could use one chamber at a time on the paintball feild?

Remember I designed this for use in paintball, not for power. A bigger valve woulda been better for the cannon if I did not intend to shoot it at people. There are regulations on the FPS you can fire at on the field, and trust me even with the 1 inch valve this puppy can go way over.

well, if you are using it for paintball, you should make it so you can actually hold it. it isnt a very practical paintball gun at all.

Theres a mount it will attach to and we use it in the base, its more of a intimidator. If I wanted a paintball gun I already bought one, I wanted a cannon.

He should load it with lots of paintballs with a styrafoamcups on both ends. That will make great buckshot.
