hi,
maybe i'm too much new on spudfiles or maybe there is something that doen't work here ...
i'm looking around and like "themost" i don't find nothing ...
the links you give in this page don't work ...
if there are so much person that don't find nothing maybe there is a problem ...
i just want indicate that and ... if you can help me to find "how to" realize a basic piston valve rifle i will be grateful to you ...

it opens because there is air pressure on both sides of the piston, the front of the piston that is against the barrel sealing it, and behind the piston that is not, when you release the pressure behind the piston with a small ball valve, the pressure in front of it forces the piston to go flying back, which unseals the barrel letting all the air escape
