yes well thats why im dieing to build one. really for a long time i was set on building a large piston but my dads 2gallon pancake compressor started to sputter from over use with my other pneumatic, and a bigger aircompresser is to expensive. even if you are looking for one on craigslist. hybrids seem to have much more bang for the buck at least after youv built one.

What sort of size gun are you planning to build anyway? Like, a big, scary one or a smaller, slightly less scary one?

oh and i was just thinking about the guy that mounted the hybrid on his shoulder. the bruise isnt saying anything about the gun.
it all depends on the wieght of the projectile. dont let him fool you that its a big powerful gun just because he was stupid enof to fire a projectile to heavy.
It's all about Newton's 3rd law.

Yeah, I know, but either way, it was a powerful gun. He was shooting a slug of frozen apple. Oh, 1 thing, you can edit your posts instead of double posting, just click on 'edit' in the top right of the post you want to change. Also, what kind of diameter ammo are you hoping to fire? Like, whole potatoes or aa batteries? Because where you said you want it for long distance shots, I doubt that you would see it hit the ground. My simple ball valve pnumatic can put an aa battery out of sight straight up. How are you going to find out how far it goes?
