No offence prof but im agaisnt hunting(I couldn't shoot a animal) so for Xmas im getting some money for my euro trip next year,a dremel and a oxy/act welder.
Btw my dad owns a hardware store(mitre10) so he just takes the dremel and welder of the shelves and only looses about $150 so its all good.
jrrdw you post made me crack up lol, I needed a good laugh after a long day of cricket today(33 not out 8) ) and I top scored for my team.

good Muile Professor! I get the feeling I am the old man around here. I do my hunting with a bow but occasionally use one of my rifles. I want a new Sturgeon rod and reel. Nothing like catching a 9 foot fish in water that is only 30 feet accross in spots! i'll try to attach a link. Havn't tried many pictures yet.

This fish is about 8 and 1/2 feet and around 400 lbs.
This is how I got started in sudgunning. On the bigger bodys of water and rsiviors we I will use a spud gun to lauch the bait. Use a spud as a wad and put the weight and bait on top of the spud and lauch. Got to peel the line off the reel and put in coils on the ground or it will burn the reel up!

damn! that must of hurt!

Btw my dad stocks no pressure pipe but he can order them in.
Hussey is a f*cking machine man, he is the best batsman in the world,so solid and confident he almost guarantess a 50 each innings and same with Ponting. Bloody limey's are f*cked(no offence to British people my grandad is British)
New Zealand are also f*cked all out for 130 agaisnt Sri Lanka! their last tour in 2005 we owned them, and they got f*cked. Bloody Slinga Malinga got a 5 wicket bag and Mutti Murlitherian(sp?) got a few as well. Fleming got a duck as usual. And our top order and middle order got nailed.
I played for my schools 2nd 11 and got 33* and im a bowler 8)

Oh Mr.crowley I know that there are many non-hunters in the world and I take into accout your oppion. I have no problems with non hunters. I just like the sport.

pull up the link It is what is called a White Sturgeon. They are ound both in the ocean and in freshwater. Here in Idaho, USA they have been land locked in freshwatter for at least 70 years. They are an acient looking fish and live to be over a 100 years old. The one in the picture, to get that size is about 100 to 110. 8 to 9 1/2 foot is about all you can land from shore. That one took 2 1/2 hours. I have landed a 14 foot from a boat. It was easy to measure as the boat was only 14 foot long. There catch and releaase only. They are sinliar to a shark in that they do not have bones.

prof. From the shore I use a 12 foot pole and a large baitcaster reel with 80 lb braided line. We use cut salmon or trout for bait. Crappie works good to. From a boat we use the same reel set up and a 7 or 8 foot rod. The rods are rated to pretty stiff
