Because you need too much large diameter pipe to make the chamber. And I was going to maybe make one with my 20 foot piece of 8" but I didn't think it would be safe at 150 psi. All you really need is a motor attached to a pump and check valve, attached to the air tank with a female QC tapped into the air chamber.

Yeah because this is an air compressor forum right? No people don't really talk about making compressors here and it would help a lot of people to have one.

At my Grampa's house in Portugal he has a industrial power compressor that is like 65 gallons and he is bearly ever here so I can use it all I want.
