even if you were to drill and tap in a hole place in the back were the cap and pipe are overlaping eachother?

Not really. Steel pipe is usually SCH-40, with the same dimensions as PVC. tapping is a breeze with steel as well, (well, unless you're using vice grips as your "drill" and "tap wrench").

Hybrids are over rated. There definatley not as powerfull as everyone sais. Just make a big pneumatic, And it should be even better than a hybrid.
That's because all you've built are small ones.

My tater cannon with a 1.5/1.5 atm mix will "stomp a pneumatics dick in the dirt", (as DR say's).

Can you make a metal gun if you cant weld?

Yeah. Bunches of people do it with copper. You just solder. All you need for soldering is a blow torch and solder.

OK IVE NEVER TAPPED PLASTIC UM IF YOUR MAKING A HYBRID (IVE NEVER DONE THAT YET EITHER) I SUGGEST YOU PUT A NUT ON EITHER SIDE OF WHAT YOUR PUTTING IN THE TAPPED HOLE IF YOU DON'T AND YOU STUFF UP THE TAP WHAT EVER YOU SCREW IN COULD RESULT FLYING OUT LIKE A BULLET WHILE FIRING ESPECIALLY WITH THE PRESSURE HYBRIDS WORK AT.HOPE THIS HELPS A LIL.

Please don't post in all caps.
@rl93 The part that holds the burst disk is called a union.

You truly don't know what your talking about.
Even in a 200+ psi environment I highly doubt that your fittings would blow out. Unless your threads were janky or you didn't have enough threads.
And do they make npt nuts? You could fashion your own out of a ed cap and drill it.
