hm, i dont know about australia, but here we can just get it straight, i dont know how you would straighten it really... as for the magazine, you can make it full auto by just not using the plunger and spring (as i found out when my plunger jammed) i would guess if you could get the pellets to clear the magazine and the top of the tee you should be fine, as long as they fall freely there shouldnt be a problem with feeding.

By brakeline they mean solid, not the flexible brake tubing.
