Ummm... All PVC threaded fittings are molded. I have yet to fund one otherwise. Some fittings have less noticible mold marks.
If you are worried about leaks use teflon tape. Make sure you are putting it on properly.

I'm probably a loser for this one. I'm all for spears. Everyone I find around here that uses spears fittings sell them for half the price as others. At Southwest plumbing I can buy a 3" spears part for $2-$7 and get the same one at home depot for $4-$14.
This is random and off topic but it seems that whenever I get on and reply to stuff the whole top of the recent posts page is covered with my name. Why am I the only one with no life that stays up till 11:30 Mountain time.

That damn Xbox 360.... its just too much fun, plain and simple... so I finally get up from it to come upstairs and go to bed, so I log on here first
(sorry if my sentences are broken up/awkward... I am a little tired)

The only fittings I can get, which are VINDEX they dont have a shinny surface and there are no visible mould marks but on the small size threaded parts they suck ass!Flimsy and burs eveywere.

Charlotte fittings don't suck . Why would you say that?
I've found that, yes, Charlotte fittings suck. But their pipe works good.
And yes, all threaded fittings are moulded. You use teflon tape to seal.

I use teflon tape on any threads, I don't want it to start leaking at times where I don't have any thread sealant.

I agree with SpudStuff. ALL fittings are molded. I've never seen anything threaded with a tap or a die in all the years I've been spudding.

If fittings were individually tapped/die'd they would cost alot more.
