Nice "rifle" There (hehe) But I seriously dont get whats wrong with calling smoothbores "rifles". I mean, we call certain female body parts "pussy's" but they dont have a tail, or fur (wait, no they might)
My point is I'm gunna call it what i wanna call it!

I know this is an older thread, but I like it. Great damage pic, too
I also have heaps of damaged or dial-up CDs lying around ... and they do make good toasters!
I also only use threaded schrader valves- the pull through can leak too easily, especially when I press too hard on them during filling.
Very clean gun, nice paint.

Actually as this thread's been kicked up, I'll post about definitions:

"Gun" can be just as bad as rifle. Technically:

A gun (totally different to "handgun") is a large artillery piece - either mounted on a ship, or land vehicle - or requiring a carriage to move/ stand to support for firing. (Sometimes known as field gun).

A rifle has spirals cut into the bore (but you all knew that one).

Schmanman's S.W.A.T gun would qualify for "Gun" - because it has wheels on it to help move it.
The Taternator II would also qualify, because of the stand - as would the 54.5mm Oxy-Mortar.

In the end, there are more rifled spudlaunchers out there than one's that could reasonably be defined as "guns".

So you're all wrong!

Personally, I use the term launcher (reasonable - it's perfectly accurate), or cannon (which can define any projectile "launcher" with a bore of more than .50"). Or the good old "spudgun", which differentiates it from a "gun".

I reckon that, in the end - it's really up to the individual, but if you're being picky about it being a "rifle", then I can be equally picky about "gun".

So there.

I like your design, for it looks like a sword.

Mind me for posting on an ancient thread.

I really like the idea of the breech. I was recently asked by my fellow airsoft buddies to make a smoke grenade launcher ( the cardboard smoke grenades) . And I to make a breech so I can let the air out in time.
Well I am kinda getting ahead of myself because I have no idea what i am doing yet.

i think hes using 1/2 inch Schedule 80, it fits PB's fairly well............

3/4 inch CPVC works far better........... but then it bends like a mutha.......
