how do i make silencer for my pneumatic

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

My first Cannon made no noise whatsoever. my second cannon (4 inch chamber, 1.5 inch barrel coaxial) was a LOUD little bugger when it went off. The barrel was too big to make a silencer, but it proves that there is a time when pneumatics are REALLY lout.
