I'm sorry for saying it like this, but, the car alarm is about the dumest way. You can drive in just about any parking lot with a car alarm remote and find a couple of alarms that it will work. There is way more alarms then the AM Wide Band Channels they work on. The inferred isn't good ether, to many cell phones with inferred systems in them. The longer wires is the way to go, smart thinking!
