Sch 300,it sounds like a good idea but it isnt worth it.ts expensive.If you want thick pvc,get sch 120. What i do if i want added protection from exploding chambers it wrap it tightly with chicken wire. but wrap it good,or it will fly off.

Chicken wire doesn't have very high tensile strength, and thus won't be good at either increasing the bursting pressure of the pipe nor containing the resulting fragments.

JUst as an educated guess, I'd place the chicken wire at about 200 PSI. Of course, safety depends on what materials you're using.

Well, if we want to run the numbers... let's say that chicken wire is composed of a single .05" wire every .75".
That's 1/400th of a square inch times some... 50,000 psi (lets say) for the tensile strength of the steel... so each wire has a tensile strength of 125 pounds... so that's about 160 pounds/liniar inch.

That means that, for a 4" chamber, it adds about 25 PSI under ideal conditions.
And my .05" wire estimate might be a bit high, I don't acctualy have any here that I could measure
