Well you should know more so if you think the opty is beter go fir it. You should check for reviews on the net not only by professionals but also by people who don't know much about them to see if there are any problems people have incountered. Also check to see which one is supported more...software wise, Drivers etc.
My Brother just spent the equivelant of $2,200US dollars and bought a awesome computer. Im not sure of the exact specs but I know it has an Nvidia 8800GTX graphics card which is bloody HUGE and awesome.
Have you played the game 'Test Driver'? The graphics are so realistic on full settings getting close to photo graphics now.
I should ask my brother for his opinion he knows alot about computers.
