this sounds ike it could work. what tanks do you suggest that are lightweight and cheap?

Only lasted a few seconds at 110 psi, total capacity was around 2 litres. For all the effort involved carting around a huge enough chamber for a worthwhile number of shots, you might as well invest in a HPA/CO2 bottle and regulator.

i mean you can have an air chamber, not hooked up to a compressor though.
heres an idea:
Make lke a six pack of 2litre bottles... hooked them up together.

How long would that last on estimation? (12 l, bout 2.5/3 gal i think)



I dont need it to last that long, becasue mine and my mates skirmishes are normally 1 on 1, in his or my backyard and they ast a few minutes each.

2 litres lasted me a good 4 seconds, we can extrapolate that simply to 24 seconds with your 12 litre setup - but again, this is going to be very bulky and not ideal for skrimishing, all this for performance that will be no better than a commercially purchased AEG.

thats the thing, over here in australia we have no bbguns, it wont be 24 seconds flat, it will be at different times.

Propane tanks might be good for this gun, too. Just mount it upright so theres no liquid propane in there and you're on your way, free of cords or hoses. I hate hoses.

Hey yeah Mr.russ, your going to need a really big Air tank i think wehave both figurd that out . JUst a question, we live in aus, How much is a decent air compressor, or a 5-7 gallon tank or a paintball 4500 - 5000 psi tank? Manythanks Thursto.

Menards has a really little (not too little though) compressor for $100. You might want to check that one out. I guaratee the pump runs every time you pull the trigger on a cloud though. Paintball tanks (the nice big ones, 4500 psi 68 ci) are about 200-250, I used to be on a semi pro team and have one of those and a steel 3000psi tank with a reg if you want that for about $100. I would go with a compressor if I were you, though.

i am also very interested in making a portable bbgun would a lpg tank work because they are cheap although im not sure on there presure but it could be worth a look. also can someone pm me on how to make a vortex block. i would be very gratefull
