I know i posted something on spudtech about the pulsejet i have, i'll have to wait till we get the archive up to link you to it though, as i don't have a local copy of the post.

I also support the motion for spudthug to shut his damn mouth.
Spudthug, it seems that all you do at the moment is post things along the lines of:
"ARRGGH!!!! DEAD TOPIC!!!! dont post... mmkay"
Stop it. Now.
It makes you look like a fool (especially when you do it in a 3 day old topic) and annoys people.
Learn from this, otherwise you'll get flagged as a troll.

but rofl no that would be very...interesting? to watch lol. naw i just wanted to knwo how they worked and MABEY build one later, i have been lookin up rockets n suff lately and plan on building one so thought why not look at engines and so i looked but couldn't find a site that explained a turbine engine in a way i could understand. so in short lol no i'm not planning on makeing a turbine powered cannon....not soon lol

Killjou, thanks for the compliment. Turbines are my thing. It's what I do. They really are simple machines at heart, all the complications are "just details".
While I have a low postcount, please don't mistake that for being "new". I was a longstanding contributor and member of the EMC over at Spudtech, and hope to continue contributing here.

No, I haven't, but I have worked on component design for commercial turbine engines. Nothing to fancy on my part, but I do need to know how they work.
You want to see the turbines I work on? Just look up next time a jet flies over.
