So was the pipe used to construct this gun:

Cellular core ABS + 100psi = Death.

The whole theory of EVILution is retarded.

One word: GOD.
Another reason i like you PVC Arsenal.

Super spuder,
Cellular core ABS (and solid wall ABS) are not desighned to hold any pressure (but that doesn't mean they can't). Its been deemed by most to be unsuitable for pneumatic cannons (because it is), though you should listen to spud blaster as he has much knowledge on using ABS pipe and its limits.
I'm not saying cellular core is bad, its just no where as safe as using pressure rated pipe. And on this forum people tend to get hasseled for using cellular core pipe and ABS pipe in pneumatics, as well as DWV fittings.

The pipe in the picture is Sch 40 cellular core DWV ABS. Your pipe is also Sch 40 cellular core DWV ABS. Unlike solid wall ABS, cellular core ABS can break into small, high velocity fragments if it does rupture. With the actual wall thickness being less than a millimeter, the rest consisting of a foam like material, there is a high probability that your chamber will rupture if taken to 100psi.

Just an FYI, both fom and WOW!! have been temporarily banned for excessive arguing and attacking another member for no good reason.

(there were a few more posts in this thread that have already been edited/deleted, or this would make even more since)

Let this be a lesson to everyone... don't start crap and don't participate in it once it has been started.

I am glad you backed up your statement with factual evidence.

Batches of pressure rated pipe are tested for quality, to make sure they will hold pressure.
Just becasue one length of non pressure pipe doesn't burst at 100psi, doesn't mean another one will not.
