yeah. i wasnt aware pulsejets get REALLY HOT when they work...... thattl melt straight through my kayak. but hey, im doing this low budget style. i found a kayak in the "unwanted ads where we sell things for 20 bucks" section of the newspaper and a trolling motor that had its shaft broken on a rock. now for the batteries............

A submerged pulsejet would just go out. Duh, unless it has gills.
