so how do i modify it?thrasmussen wrote:3x4" bell reducer with a 4x2" Bushing turned around so that the funnel shaped part is facing backward. Looks great! Needs a bit of modification to the bushing to make it go in backwards though.

You just grind down the flange that keeps it from going in backwards.

the best way i think is the hot oil. it works and you wont get flaming pvc ._. all the hot oil does is soften up the pvc to be 'modeled' in a way. Here the link to the spudtech tutorial :

That has a step by step and a what to do and what not to do. Id reccomend it just because his results looked decent. I plan on trying it as soon as i get myself some pvc pipe.

And if you get the right one it will have a bowl/cone shape to it in the rear.

Yes. exactly. And stick that in backwards, into the 4" end of a 4x3" bell reducer.

It's just like a regular bushing but in a bell shape.

Yes the "Bell Reducer" is like a coupling but with one end smaller than the other.
I assumed it was a photo shop but being a small photo it was hard to tell..Specialist wrote:ya he could just go to google and get an image. and juscuz welcome to spudfiles. i like jack's second idea a lot.
Thanks for the welcome, I am not that new I just finally registered.
I agree the altered bushing with the bell reducer would look the best.
