so how do i modify it?

You just grind down the flange that keeps it from going in backwards.

the best way i think is the hot oil. it works and you wont get flaming pvc ._. all the hot oil does is soften up the pvc to be 'modeled' in a way. Here the link to the spudtech tutorial :

http://spudtech.com/content.asp?id=26

That has a step by step and a what to do and what not to do. Id reccomend it just because his results looked decent. I plan on trying it as soon as i get myself some pvc pipe.

Wow, thnks! but now the only problem is the 3'' pipe im using... the flaring proces and my pipe- could it really work?

WHat about flanges!
No oil or modding involved.

You remove this:
And if you get the right one it will have a bowl/cone shape to it in the rear.

Yes. exactly. And stick that in backwards, into the 4" end of a 4x3" bell reducer.

It's just like a regular bushing but in a bell shape.

I assumed it was a photo shop but being a small photo it was hard to tell..

Thanks for the welcome, I am not that new I just finally registered.

I agree the altered bushing with the bell reducer would look the best.
