Eh, what's the pressure rating like on it though. Will it hold like a solder?

i don't think its as high but ive seen a gun made out of just for copper.

Made out of justforcopper?

You must be mistaken, it's like a superglue that only bonds copper and copper alloys, you'd never be able to make a solid mass of it.

Anyway it's rated to 500psi, it is a hard glue so you should not be planning on flexing the joint at all once it's set - which is about 5 seconds to grip and about 1min to fully set.

He probably meant only justforcopper was used for joining the pipe.

one more noob question. i cant find any thing on this.i am using a blow gun for my valve and i was wondering if you could put a schrader in the the end of the blow gun to fill through and exhaust through. thanks

you could do that, yes, but you would have to take it off to exhaust. if you really want to do that then have the schrader valve in a tee and then the tee to to the blow gun, that way it can still exhaust without you taking it off.

by the way, that is almost pointless, it would be way better to simply put the schrader valve next to the blowgun rather than on it......

i cant put it next to the blow gun because i am only using .5 pipe so there really isnt much room.

well then attach a tee to the blow gun, then put the schrader valve on one side and you will have an exhaust valve on the other.

you could simply use a 1/4'' ball valve with a quick release for a compressor, that works an my 1/2'' and my 2'' valves.
