nice. the front forks look like they are off a '88 yz80 and i love the look of the front forks. if i were you though i would try to find like an old z50 ( between 1992 1998) and take the enigine out of that and toss it in. it would be easier to start and quieter. but nice job. ive been wanting to get a little project bike like that.

yeah, that sounds cool. this set of forks looks to be off an 80's 250 cc 2-stroke, judging by the length and travel.

the 50 cc engine sounds like a good idea, is it an auto clutch?
because shifting would be impossible if not.

I'm sure I could weld up some motor mounts and an exhaust.

What kinda dirtbike do you have? I can't tell in the pic... I got used y-ser 125 2-stroke from my friend A.J. . But get this, I got it for $400! It runs great, the only thing wrong with it is the exhaust. It's got a rust hole on the expansion chamber. I'll prolly just fix it up with some epoxy putty.

I have (since the picture was taken) put new tires & rings on it, and now I am working on the tranny. ever since I got hit by a retard going off a jump (long story, he also hit a kid on a quad last weekend, and almost hit our bus.... f***ing retard) the bike has a preformance pipe, porting, suspension work, and a re-cut rotary valve. it goes in the high 80 mph range now.

I have a little crack by a bracket in my expansion chamber, but putty falls out after a minute or two and blows out. it was applied correctly, and more than enough was used.

we are going to weld it soon. that's really the only permanent fix.

well actually snow's not something that's really an area of expertise for me, being from Australia and all.....about the closest thing we get is when the tar on the road melts in summer!
