Read my posts we were talking about a pistol grip one like they have on mcmaster. I was looking for that one.
Edit I actually did see a couple there that could work but I'm not sure they have a little different specs than the one I want. Thanks tho

Hey, on account of being bale to hide the qev and chamber, if you had the machining skill, you could hide them in the stock, especially if your stock was like plastic or if you could make it out of heavy duty expanding foam inside of a mould and then sand and paint it. Hope this wasnt too much of a BSing/pipe dreaming sort of ramble. Spud

Thats what my plan was. I think I'm going to make it out of wood and sand it down real smooth and either stain it or paint it black. What do you guys think is a good ID for my barrel. the bb is .177" I was thinking about using 1/8" aluminum which has an ID of .269. Is that any better than 1/4" brakeline?

0.269" is far too much clearance, you'd get very poor performance. I once compared an 0.197" barrel to a true 0.177" barrel, the tighter diameter gave a performance increase of about 33%.

So .177 cal? Uh, you could try BB gun manufacturer websites to see if they have replacements. Or you could buy a cheap BB gun and tear it apart.

Umm, I'd say from a bb gun, lol. Should be able to find one at a flea market or something and just take the barrel out, plus you'll get other cool stuff to mess around with. Look for something like a Crosman bb rifle or maybe (I wouldn't) from a daisy rifle. I recently posted a topic of what people use for barrels, you should look at it and see what people have said. It covers both .177 and 6mm airsoft so PAY ATTENTION, lol not quite that serious. Anywho, have fun and good luck. Spudmeister

Whoever was talking about why you would need to regulate the CO2 before using it, CO2 @ 70F has a pressure of about 800 psi, that's not exact, but ballparked, so that's why you need to regulate it.

i had an idea for you and was to have the co2 fill a chamber with a small butterfly valve leading into another Chamber Then you close the co2 chamber leaving so much co2..... then having a samll sprinkl;er valve open releasing the c02 and propeling the bb i built one like that and got about 550 fps But i was using tiny chambers

and i built it out of copper
