Is there a way to remotely / electronically activate a piston valve? I haven't read much into piston valves yet but I'll check them out.
Any good high pressure, electrically operated valves?

Yes there is a way
Airbeds... so many different uses
there is a way to do that.
or you could have a remote control, servo actuated blowgun directly onto a sprinkler or QEV. that would be simple as hell aswell. just hook the servo arm up to the trigger.
i have old rc systems that i make stuff out of and use servos to move switches and things. (remote control 'cars' that have 10 inch steel blades on them)
lol. used to anyway havnt had a tinker with that stuff for a while.
