If your pilot valve is too small you will also get trouble in practice, not just in GGDT.
Pistons can oscillate or bounce back and forth, an overkill...

Who here has experience using an electronic sprinkler valve (not modifying it) to use on there large piston? I am planning on making a 2 1/2 inch...

the gun will be all metal galvanized steel pipe etc....

I am going to place a NC sprinkler valve in series with my main house ball valve.

How do I open the valve if we get a power outage?

I would have ran a linkage rod from the ball valve handle to where it could easily been accessed from up stairs or where ever. The only problem I see...
