Cathode ray tube. Its whats inside bulky TV's and computer monitors.
Can give a better picture and faster response time than any flatscreen but it of course does take up a lot of space.
I can get some enourmous CRT computer monitors from a computer resale place near me. Screens must be about 30" and they go for about £25. Insane stuff.
